FPL Spain Briefing: Bringing together the Spanish electronic trading community for an afternoon of education, debate and networking on November 29th in Madrid

Created in response to industry demand, the FPL Spain Briefing will seek to provide market participants with a forum where the real issues, challenges and opportunities impacting the Spanish trading community can be addressed and the many benefits that market participants could achieve from increased FIX adoption explored. Topics will include:

• The challenges of trading in an evolving European market structure
• An evaluation of the key efficiency gains presented by standards such as the FIX Protocol and the economic opportunities FIX offers to the Spanish trading community
• Key lessons learnt locally from using FIX for derivatives and how this experience can be applied to other asset classes
• The impact of recent regulatory challenges in the Spanish market, including an update on MiFID II
• A series of workshop sessions including an introduction to the FIX Protocol and a guide to implementing FIX
