CME Market Data Sample App

Complete message thread from old site

Hello,
I'm trying to upgrade an existing application that uses RLC to the new FIX/FAST protocol, and I'm developing in MS Visual Studio.
Does anyone have any tips for getting the CME C++ sample app (cplusplusdecoder) to build in the MSVS environment?
Any help is much appreciated!
Thank you,
Brian Hides

Brian, I have built the CME reference code, it relies on the xerces library to do a DOM parse of the template file. If you want to email me directly, I can send you a sequence of steps.

We don't use the CME reference code in real form or another. We wrote our own FAST parser, and it is working well in production. So building the CME reference code is more of a curiosity than anything else.

Thank you - I would definitely appreciate a hand in this, and I appreciate your offer to help! Sorry it's taken so long to get back to you.
I did actually build the app but I'm having some intermittent problems with parsing strings.
I can be reached at bh@gszpartners.com (I don't see your direct e-mail address - if you'd prefer to email me and then let me reply?)
Thanks again so much -
Brian
